Guests say

Guests consistently praise the Elm lodge for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and accessibility, particularly for those with mobility issues. The property manager, Michelle, receives commendations for her helpfulness. While some minor issues with creaky floorboards and the need for more crockery are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests planning return visits.

Reviews frequently highlight the lodge's cleanliness, with guests satisfied with the interior maintenance. A minor note was made about external window cleanliness, but this does not detract significantly from the high standards observed.

The lodge's location is described as quiet and peaceful, ideal for relaxation and well-situated for exploring Cornwall. Some guests mentioned it is a short drive from amenities, which is convenient for most visitors.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable, with spacious rooms and good accessibility features. However, several reviews mention creaky floorboards, which could be a discomfort for light sleepers.

Facilities are well-regarded with modern amenities and well-equipped kitchens. Some guests suggested additional crockery and a non-stick frying pan. Maintenance issues like squeaky floors and a sticky patio door were noted.

While guests appreciated the welcome pack and the property manager's helpfulness, there are not enough references to specific thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gestures, when provided, enhance the guest experience.

It was great for a family holiday. The modern accommodation is spacious and all on one level making it very accessible. Nice and clean throughout. Overall very happy with our experience.

The location was great for exploring Cornwall. The lodges were on a very quiet location, with lovely countryside views. Yet only a very short drive to Truro. The lodge is clean, spacious and well equipped. It has a spacious balcony to sit out on sunny days. The only downside is we found the floors really creaky, which probably isn’t an issue for most, however when putting our toddler to bed, we found it disturbed him getting in and out of the room/walking along the hall: this probably won’t bother most people’s stay though and was only a minor inconvenience of an otherwise very lovely stay
