Good facilities, perfect for a family of 6. Only little niggles were the freezer didnât work and dishwasher kept popping open while running but didnât really bother us. Would definitely go again

Central location to most attractions. Just a couple of recommendations for improvement: - more lighting in the kitchen area - more utensils for comfort (plates, pots, cups, etc) - freezer was not working Otherwise a very nice lodge and will definitely call back again.

Whist we really enjoyed the stay and coped without too much trouble, we feel some facilities and provision of kitchen utensils are sadly lacking. Our main issue was the freezer did not work at all when we arrived and all our efforts to get it operational did not work, but we just managed without and did not report it to anyone during the stay. In addition there are very limited cooking utensils for a self catering lodge, not even a bread knife in the kitchen. A few simple additions in the kitchen and provision of shower mats and towel holders in the bathroom and en-suite would be a major improvement, and ensuring all major kitchen appliances are operational prior to guests arriving should be a must.
