About this property

Truro 4.5 miles. Nestled on the outskirts of Feock, close to the attractions of Truro, lies this wonderful creekside property, Rathillet. Enjoying an elevated position with views over Restronguet Creek, this delightful holiday home is a lovely choice for families and friends to come together and enjoy Cornwall. Park up on the driveway on arrival and enter into the property, finding the bright and airy living/dining room, where you can sink into the sofas and catch up on your favourite shows, or settle down for dinner at the dining table, taking in the creekside views as you tuck into a hearty meal. The kitchen is where these meals can be prepared, hosting an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and even a dishwasher, so you won’t have to a lift a finger when it comes to washing up! Step out onto the decked balcony and enjoy a drink amidst the last of the evening sun, while there is also a patio area and sun terrace on the lower-ground floor, offering garden furniture and a small lawned area. Freshen up in the family bathroom, where a bath and shower over awaits you, along with a heated towel rail, basin and WC. Find the bedrooms as you begin to tire, offering a super-king-size and twin room (can be super-king on request) on the ground floor, while down a set of stairs awaits a king-size double with access to the sun terrace, each providing fitted storage and fresh white bed linen. From the property, Loe beach is just a short walk away, where you can find a café, as well as a sailing and windsurfing school from Easter to the end of September, offering a full and comprehensive programme of tuition for all water sports along with equipment hire. Venture to the stunning gardens of Trelissick, owned by the National Trust, before visiting The King Harry Ferry where you can quickly reach The Roseland Peninsula and enjoy its golden beaches, beautiful landscapes and attractions at St Mawes. Truro’s vibrant centre is not far away, brimming with excellent shopping, eating and drinking spots, as well as a striking array of architecture and a cathedral to marvel upon. Once those are complete, the popular resorts of St Agnes and Falmouth are certainly worth a visit. Rathillet is a fabulous base for uncovering Cornish attractions, whatever time of year.
