Bantam Cottage is a delightful, pet-friendly, barn conversion set on a small holding just outside Ottery St Mary. The setting is ideal for those who wish to access the coast, as well as exploring all that Devon and Dorset have to offer. The smallholding is home to a wide range of animals, depending on the season you may encounter; Pygmy goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens. Step inside to discover the homely open-plan living space, where you can rustle up an evening meal in the equipped kitchen, toast to an excellent holiday around the dining table, and relax in the sitting area, ideal for those quiet nights in. When weather permits, an enclosed rear garden provides a private spot to rest after a busy day's adventures and the wild meadow to the rear provides a pretty backdrop in the summer months. The owner has a small shop on site selling jams, preserves cured meats, and honey from their own bees, and a larger farm shop is within easy reach. This two-bedroom, pet-friendly cottage is an ideal base for friends and families alike with both bedrooms able to be set up as either king-size or twin beds. Enjoy a rural retreat at Bantam Cottage. Note: This property can be booked with ref. 1160495, together sleeping eight guests.
