Burrows is a well-appointed cottage in Devon, praised for its high-quality fittings, comfortable furnishings, and excellent facilities. Guests have enjoyed the property's rural charm, proximity to seaside towns, and the thoughtful touches provided. The well-equipped kitchen and cosy lounge with a log burner are particularly appreciated, although some guests noted the beds could be improved and outdoor seating was limited.
Reviews consistently mention the property being clean and well-maintained, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness throughout.
The property is appreciated for its beautiful rural setting and easy access to local attractions, although the lack of a nearby shop and the narrow access roads are minor drawbacks.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the lounge and bedrooms. However, some guests found the beds too soft and lumpy, slightly affecting the comfort score.
The property boasts high-quality kitchen appliances, good WiFi, and a hot tub. Issues with the internet were promptly addressed, but the lack of sufficient outdoor seating and feather bedding (a problem for allergy sufferers) are noted.
While guests have not specifically mentioned gifts, they have praised the high-quality equipment and amenities. As there is no direct reference to gifts, a score cannot be provided.

While there the Owner showed us their other property, âApplemillâ - both properties rivalled ones we have stayed in on the Chatsworth estate. A welcome of milk, teabags, coffee and chocolate cake on arrival. High quality towels, china, bedding provided. Plenty of hot water and heating available. We chose not to use the hot tub this time but would next time due to the rigorous maintenance testing schedule by the owners to ensure levels were correct. Dressing gowns provided for hot tub too! Property very comfortable throughout and open plan layout meant we all felt connected and joined in with meal preparation. Quiet location with beautiful views and sunset. Great night sky! Would definitely stay again and would like to stay at Applemill too! Sarah

Description for beautiful bedroom with bath has a shower over no walk in shower as described. Would definitely return for another holiday. Thank you for your hospitality

Our only real complaint was the lack of outside seating for relaxing, two wooden loungers was not enough for four people which was disappointing when we had the sun. Also the wooden loungers had no cushions (very hard of the bum!!).
