Guests say

Craft Cottage in Beer, Devon, is a well-loved and equipped holiday home praised for its excellent location and comfort. Guests appreciate the property's character, proximity to the beach, and village amenities. The cottage's thoughtful touches, such as a well-stocked kitchen and entertainment options, contribute to a homely feel. While some guests mention noise and a need for minor updates, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most guests found Craft Cottage to be spotlessly clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests noted instances where cleanliness was not up to their expectations, with mentions of finding wrappers and the need to wash utensils before use.

The location of Craft Cottage is highly praised for being central in Beer, with easy access to local amenities, the beach, and restaurants. While some guests noted noise from nearby traffic and buses, the convenience of the location was a significant positive factor.

Guests consistently report that Craft Cottage offers a comfortable stay, with comfortable beds and a cosy atmosphere. The presence of a well-equipped garden adds to the comfort. However, some guests mentioned the lack of a toilet on the top floor and the challenge of accommodating six adults comfortably.

The cottage is well-equipped with an abundance of extras, including books, DVDs, and children's toys. The kitchen is praised for its ample crockery and cooking facilities. Some guests suggested updates to soft furnishings and the addition of basic cleaning equipment.

While many guests appreciate the well-stocked and homely feel of the cottage, there is insufficient information regarding the provision of gifts to guests to accurately assess thoughtfulness in this context. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Very comfortable with a unique layout. Well equipped for all needs. Parking space provided further down the high street. Communication with the owner was excellent. Fully recommend.

This was the only thing that made us pause when booking because we came in an electric car. But there's six of them! The cottage was fab, the noise from the bus stop didn't affect us at all though there are constantly people parking outside but it's the town square so that's to be expected. We had to contact the owners a couple of times and they responded instantly and we're really helpful and kind.
