Sterling is a superb two bedroom apartment situated right in the heart of Seaton, just one minute walk to the seafront and just ten minute to the pretty Axe Harbour.
This property is a superb luxury apartment in the Counting House, a stunning new conversion from a 1870s Victorian townhouse situated right in the heart of the popular seaside town of Seaton. You’ll be mere metres from the seafront esplanade and the mile-long beach. The pretty harbour is an easy 0.5-mile level walk.
Access to the apartment is from the front of the building. Enter The Counting House into the shared hall with its intercom system. Head up the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find the door to the apartment, which is completely renovated, refurbished and attractively furnished to a superb standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Many period features remain including decorative fireplaces. There is oak flooring throughout with the exception of the luxury carpeted bedrooms. Enter the hall before getting to the lounge with its TV and bay window seat offering distant views of the sea and cliffs. This open-plan space boasts a dining table for four and a well-fitted and well-equipped kitchen. There’s a large king-size room and then a light and bright twin, both with soothing coastal-coloured décor. Both rooms shared the luxury shower room with its rainfall shower head and WC.
This beautiful apartment is situated in the square with local shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and two supermarkets all close by. You’ll be under 100 metres from the beach and the seafront with its esplanade. The pretty harbour is an easy 0.5-mile level walk away and the golf course is a little further. It’s just a short walk to the South West Coast Path; in one direction, you can reach the picturesque fishing village of Beer (2 miles), or Branscombe (5 miles) and the opposite direction to Lyme Regis (8 miles) with its famous harbour wall known as the Cobb and an excellent selection of specialist shops. A little further on is Charmouth (11.5 miles) with the Heritage Coast Centre offering fossil hunting walks, rockpool rambles and special marine events.

A wonderful apartment in the heart of Seaton. Very comfortable, cozy and spotlessly clean. Only 2 of us stayed but would have easily been space for a family. The kingsize bed was comfortable, lovely double shower and everything we needed in the kitchen as we like to cook. There are 3 car parks you can use with the free parking pass. The one behind Aldi is the closest but is often full. The others are a 2 minute walk away but you can park right outside for loading/unloading. The location is fab, easy walk to everything in Seaton, pubs and restaurants all around, Aldi supermarket next door and the beach right at the bottom of the street, approximately 1 minute walk. It’s a pebble beach so not easy to walk on, but there is a sidewalk with benches. Just be aware if you attempt the walk to Beer, it is an up and over the cliffs walk so you would need to be reasonably fit and able. However there are regular buses. It’s a lovely little village though and had a lovely cream tea in the cafe/shop just before the beach. Recommendations - Ragini Indian Restaurant, lovely meal, reasonable prices, nice wine, recommend booking, we went on a Wednesday thinking it would be quiet and they struggled to fit us in. Apparently they have some kind of deal on a Wed and Thu and it gets really busy. Sea Shanty Cafe in Branscome, lovely setting right on the beach, excellent value for money, lovely food but be careful, the meals are very plentiful. Highly recommend a visit to Branscombe and the cafe. Also the pub opposite the apartment is a locals pub and very friendly. We did the RLNI quiz there and had a great night. We did the tram which is a 3 mile journey to Colysten and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Not much at Colton but nice to have a look around the village. Be aware it’s about an half mile walk from the tram to the village. Exeter is ok if you like the city. We didn’t see a lot as the weather was particularly bad on this day but we had lunch in the ship, a 15th century pub that Sir Francis Drake and Sir Walter Raleigh are reported to have drank in. Our meals were fantastic and quite reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.
