Perfect for families, this contemporary cottage is in an idyllic location to enjoy a seaside holiday in this popular location on the UNESCO Jurassic Coast. Designed with relaxation in mind, the cottage has a bright interior complimented by the many personal touches to provide warm and welcoming accommodation. The open plan kitchen/living area is an impressive room with vaulted ceiling and large bi-fold doors which flood the room with light. The kitchen offers a well-equipped and sociable space, perfect for creating memorable mealtimes which can be enjoyed around the dining table. Step out to the adjoining rear terrace, which extends this wonderful living space and provides the perfect location for alfresco dining while taking in the views over the village. Stairs from the lounge lead to the bedrooms, all of which are located on the first floor together with the family bathroom. The main bedroom, an impressive and spacious king-size room, enjoys views over the village towards the coast and the sea beyond. The other two bedrooms, a bright twin room and a smaller bunk bedroom, make this a great choice for families. A popular location on the UNESCO Jurassic Coast, Beer is much admired for its many character houses and charming cottages and offers a good selection of restaurants and pubs dotted amongst the art galleries and independent shops. Beer beach, only a short stroll away, is a delightful, sheltered cove protected from the prevailing winds by the limestone cliffs of Beer Head. A popular spot for swimming and paddleboarding, the beach is also home to beach front cafes, where you can sit and enjoy a bite to eat and take in the seaside views. For a popular family day out, Pecorama is one of Devon’s leading tourist attractions where visitors can enjoy award-winning gardens, stunning sea views and rides on Britain’s finest 7.25-inch railway. Other family favourites include the Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth or nearby Lyme Regis, with its beaches, iconic Cobb harbour and fossils – why not try your hand at finding your own ammonites along the shores? The nearby cliff top paths and South West Coastal footpath provide great walking for those wishing to explore the stunning East Devon Coastline on foot and takes in views towards Portland on a clear day. The Mead is a wonderful choice for a holiday to remember for the whole family.
Beer is a small picturesque fishing village on the south Devon coast near Seaton. The shingle beach is very sheltered, backed by limestone cliffs and was once fertile smuggling territory, plus contraband was hidden in nearby caves, which are now a popular tourist attraction. Beer is situated on the stretch of Devon coastline, known as the Jurassic Coast, a designated World Heritage Site, and the village offers sloping streets lined with picturesque stone houses and cottages built on many different levels of the steep valley sides. There are a good range of shops, friendly cafes, restaurants and pubs in Beer, plus just outside the village is the popular Pecorama Gardens, which are perched on the hill overlooking Lyme Bay. Pecorama boasts the Beer Heights Light Railway and indoor model railway exhibition, along with a children's play area. Beer is a unique Devon fishing village and a great place to stay.

The property had everything you need and is very well equipped. Stunning view of the sea from the bedroom. We will definetly return and recommend to others.

Great outdoor spaces to back and front and big gas bbq none of which we got to use because of weather unfortunately. Pillows hard if you like a soft pliable pillow perhaps take your own. Good kitchen with everything needed. Itâs an induction hob which if youâve never used before is confusing with the special pans. Eventually found all appliance instructions in a green file in the boiler cupboard. Would stay again

We enjoyed our stay, the house was well equiped and clean. Also Beer is a very nice village, with beautiful coast and landscape. 2 points that could be improved, the curtains in de bedrooms were not darkening enough for us. And maybe a clearer instruction for de waste separation (maybe for people from the UK it is clear) .
