Posbury Lodge receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and comprehensive facilities, including a hot tub and games room. The property is well-equipped, with a secure garden ideal for pets and children. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the host, such as welcome baskets and personalised messages. Despite some comments on mobile coverage, the location is enjoyed for its peacefulness and countryside charm.
Reviewers consistently mention that the property is 'spotlessly clean' and 'scrupulously clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.
The location is described as peaceful and lovely, ideal for relaxation. However, one review mentions unstable Wi-Fi and mobile coverage, which suggests the remote countryside setting might not suit everyone's needs.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with mentions of 'cosy', 'comfortable beds', and a 'warm and cosy' atmosphere. The property seems to cater well to guests' comfort needs.
Facilities are highly praised, with multiple mentions of the well-equipped kitchen, hot tub, games room, and secure garden. The presence of an Aga and the provision of logs for the burner are also noted positively.
The host's thoughtfulness is frequently highlighted, with guests appreciating welcome baskets, homemade treats, and Christmas decorations. While these gestures are warmly received, it's important to note that such personal touches, although likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was super well equipped and the hosts had thought of everything. There was absolutely nothing wanting. Beautiful cottage, beautiful views and we had an amazing week there. The kids and dogs loved the large enclosed garden and we all made great use of the hot tub. The place is super lovely and really felt like a home away from home. Amazing hosts and an amazing place. Highly recommend this place and we were all sad to leave.

Owner thought of everything to make your stay really welcoming.

The hot tub and games room an added bonus for the family to enjoy. We have stayed in many cottages over the years but this one is 100% better than others we've stayed in. The welcome pack and scones, jam and cream just lovely. Ruth the owner has thought of everything to make it home from home. We are hoping to return next year sometime as we enjoyed it so much.
