Here, you are perfectly located to explore the gorgeous county of Devon and you can have the best of both worlds with its stunning coastline and dramatic moorland, leaving you spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring. There are beautiful walks locally, or on Dartmoor, Exmoor or along the South West Coast Path overlooking the stunning Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis or the kids favourite, fossil hunting at Charmouth beach. Wimbleball Lake is 17 miles away and offers a range of sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and pretty walking trails. If you want to visit the beach, Exmouth, Sidmouth and Branscombe are well worth a visit for a swim or dog walk. Closer to home, the town of Tiverton boasts a pretty canal and from here you can hire a horse drawn barge or visit The National Trust properties in the area including Killerton and Knightshayes. Exeter ( 18 miles ) offers bespoke shops, eateries and the lovely Cathedral, cycle and kayak hire to explore the paths and estuaries. Crealy Adventure Park, Haldon Forest for biking trails and Go Ape swinging high in the tree's, make for a super day of memories.
