Peaceful countryside, view of meadows from the door. Also enjoyed the bird feeders, saw great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch, coal tits, not to mention pheasants and squirrels.

Modern property with everything you could possibly need for a most comfortable stay. Host Gilly was most welcoming and helpful. Sykes: Please amend your directions: Fern is located at WHITE STACKS, it is NOT at Bydown Cottages.

Very clean, comfortable and all the necessary equipment to relax and enjoy the surroundings. There was a lovely basket of goodies which was appreciated and contained the basics necessary to start our holiday. We would definitely return and hope to do so in the new year.
