Springside is a well-equipped and comfortable apartment in Devon, praised for its peaceful location and stunning views. Guests appreciate the modern conveniences, thoughtful touches, and cleanliness. While some find the location challenging to access and the property's maintenance could improve, the overall experience is one of tranquility and relaxation, with nearby walks and nature to enjoy.
The majority of guests report the property as spotlessly clean, with only one review mentioning a concern with mould smell and mattress stains. The positive remarks on cleanliness are overwhelming, hence the high score.
The location is described as peaceful with beautiful views and proximity to nature walks. However, some guests find it isolated and challenging to access, with steep roads and limited mobile signal. The score reflects the balance between the tranquility and the accessibility issues.
Guests find the property comfortable and cozy, with comfy beds and a cozy atmosphere. One review, however, mentions uncomfortable mattresses and a lack of modern bathroom fixtures, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with modern conveniences and a well-supplied kitchen. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues, such as slippery stairs, lack of towel hooks, and a smell of oil from the heating system. The score reflects the need for improvement in this area.
Many guests mention thoughtful touches, such as extra conveniences and a bottle of champagne on arrival. While such gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

! 5 stars easy! Probably the best view we've ever had but the apartment was clean and comfortable too. No complaints at all, would happily stay here again. Excellent facilities, really well supplied and clear instructions for directions on arrival and such. So quiet and peaceful! Helpful information book too.

Peaceful. Very relaxing listening to the water trickling down the hillside and the breeze through the trees. Bath sheets would be a luxurious addition. Very comfortable and well equipped.

The apartment is in excellent condition with every modern convenience. The owners have excellent communication skills and even had a bottle of champagne for us in the fridge on arrival; completely unexpected. The surroundings are hilly and require a certain level of fitness to get to the beach and back but well worth the effort. The beach has a natural tide pool and I was amazed to see a few folks swimming even in April! The nearest hotel is Hunters Inn, which is very good and an hours walk from the apartment via a beautiful coastal path. There is building work taking place near the apartment but no noticeable noise that affected our stay. To find the property is challenging and the roads are mainly single lane and very steep but that is the price to getaway from the crowds. Lastly, bring everything you need with you, there are no shops nearby. The perfect place to getaway from it all.
