Both Woolacombe and Croyde Bay have long sandy beaches and from nearby Baggy Point there are wonderful panoramic views of the bay to Lundy Island. Nearby Ilfracombe’s busy fishing harbour offers boat trips to Lundy Island in the summer, while further along the Exmoor coast the attractive towns of Lynmouth and Lynton are popular with holidaymakers.
