9 Oceanside is a third-floor, sea facing, penthouse apartment just a short walk to the harbour and town's amenities in the bustling resort of Ilfracombe on Devon's north coast. For families and friends seeking a holiday beside the sea, you won't find many closer than this. Perched on the top floor of the Oceanside apartments in Capstone Crescent, you are greeted with magnificent views of the ocean that stretch for miles out over the English Channel. This property is a bright and contemporary apartment with an open-plan living space with a glossy white kitchen and breakfast bar for dining. An open tread, staircase leads to a useful mezzanine with TV and additional seating and desk. Two bedrooms are attractively presented, including a master double ensuite and a twin room. Step through patio doors onto an impressively long balcony furnished with patio seating, a perfect spot for enjoying a sundowner at the end of the day. Ilfracombe, once a Victorian seaside resort, retains many of its historic influences in its grand architecture, and is now a vibrant destination with a fine variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants to sample. There are five beaches in the town, including the famous Tunnels Beach, hand carved through the cliff face where bathing in the shallow waters and rock pooling make it an ideal spot for families with children. Day trips to The Big Sheep and Combe Martin Wildlife Park are within a short drive. The vast stretches of golden sands can be found at nearby Woolacombe, and the coast path is on your doorstep to explore the magnificent coastline on foot.
