Thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts, enhance the experience, although these are subject to change and not guaranteed.

The property's location is highly praised for its proximity to the harbour, shops, and restaurants, as well as its exceptional views, making it an ideal base for exploring Ilfracombe.

Guests find the apartment comfortable, with well-laid-out rooms and effective heating. However, one mention of broken blinds in the children's room slightly impacts the perfect score.

The apartment is well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including a smart TV and board games. A single issue with the boiler, which was addressed promptly, suggests overall good maintenance.

The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, providing welcome gifts and useful information. While these gestures are appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

Owner was entirely accommodating and we have no complaints whatsoever about the standard of the property.

Comfortable little apartment with everything you need for your holiday. Nice welcome gift upon arrival - thank you. Exceptional views from the apartment. We love the area around Ilfracombe harbour and had some enjoyable evenings out in the local restaurants and pubs. Owner very helpful providing a list of places to eat locally. Unfortunately the boiler went wrong during our stay, owner and caretaker tried to get it fixed but it needed replacing, no-ones fault, just one of those things. We were kept informed throughout and offered a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience which was very much appreciated. If we visit Ilfracombe in the future I would not hesitate to book The Lookout again.
