Built in 1721 this most attractive Georgian Grade II listed property commands picturesque views over Lynmouth, the rivers and the harbour to the sea. Sea View is situated up a short steep pathway and close to the centre of this pretty coastal Exmoor village. There is no need of a car here. Wonderful trails along the East and West Lyn Rivers, challenging climbs up Countisbury Hill and scenic strolls to The Valley of the Rocks will keep walkers happy for days. The individual shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs in Lynmouth and its twin village Lynton are on the doorstep. The unique Victorian Cliff Railway which carries passengers 500 feet upwards between the two villages and provides unmissable views across the bay. Sea View is a large property with good-sized rooms arranged on four levels. This spacious property has many original features including some beams, ornate fireplaces and large sash windows and is furnished and decorated in an informal country style with some distressed furniture and painted wooden floorboards. The first floor lounge has an attractive fireplace with real fire, and a window seat to enjoy the coastal views. All three bedrooms also enjoy great sea views and one features a lovely four-poster bed. Outside a fully-enclosed and terraced patio is a delightful place to relax but please note this may not suit unsupervised children as there are several steps and different levels. A handy small rear yard is ideal for pets and storing surfboards.

First Floor: Living room with open fire in large ornate fireplace, TV, DVD and CD player. Utility room and storage area with washing machine Cloakroom with WC. Second Floor: Bedroom 1 with four poster Double with ensuite shower room with basin and WC. Bedroom 2 with Double with ensuite shower room with basin and WC. Third Floor: Bedroom 3 with Twin (with sloping ceilings) and Bathroom with shower attachment over bath, basin and WC (restricted height due to sloping ceiling).
Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Oil CH. WiFi from May 2014. No smoking. Two pets welcome. Please note no cot or highchair available. Garden furniture. Unrestricted roadside parking available just 40 paces from the property gate out of season and overnight parking (4pm-12noon) available all year with permit provided for one car in car park less than 100 yds away. Short breaks available. Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.
