Fairhaven in Dartmouth is a well-received apartment, praised for its central location, spaciousness, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the addition of two bathrooms. The property's stylish decor and terrace are also highlights. Some guests noted minor issues with cleanliness in communal areas and maintenance, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience.
The apartment itself receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests finding it spotless and well-maintained. However, there are comments about the entrance hall and stairs being dirty, which impacts the overall impression. The communal areas seem to need more attention.
The central location of Fairhaven is consistently praised. It is considered excellent for exploring Dartmouth and is appreciated for its proximity to local amenities, contributing to a very high score in this category.
Guests find the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and tranquil atmosphere. The presence of a clock striking hourly and the mention of cheap pillows slightly affect the score, but overall comfort is rated highly.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and the bonus of two bathrooms. However, some guests noted the absence of advertised items like a coffee machine and hair dryer, and issues with bin collection, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The perfect base for exploring Dartmouth and making wonderful memories with your loved ones.
Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.

Very comfortable and clean. Having two bathrooms was also a bonus and the outside terrace area is a great addition to the property

It was very clean and well appointed. The stairs leading up to the property are narrow for carrying luggage but entering into the property makes the effort worthwhile. As a frequent Dartmouth visitor, I would highly recommend Fairhaven. As usual, excellent support from Coast and Country/Sykes.

Spacious, comfortable, beautifully appointed apartment - even better than photos depict. We enjoyed being right in the centre of Dartmouth. We didnât want to leave! Fabulous week. Highly recommend.
