Guests say

Gooder House in Dartmouth receives high praise for its comfort, well-equipped kitchen, and convenient location with stunning views. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, cosy atmosphere, and the bonus of garage parking. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests returning and recommending the property.

Most guests find Gooder House spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, a few guests have reported cleanliness issues, such as cobwebs and a poorly cleaned room, slightly affecting the overall high standard.

The property's location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, quietness, and beautiful views. The convenience of the location, coupled with the availability of a garage, is frequently highlighted as a significant advantage.

Guests consistently report that Gooder House offers a comfortable stay, with cosy furnishings and well-appointed social spaces. The beds are particularly commended for their comfort, contributing to a relaxing experience.

The property is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and guests appreciate the thoughtful touches. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as door and shower problems, and suggestions for improvements like better TV channel access and clothes drying facilities.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful gestures such as Christmas decorations and a welcome bottle of fizz, there are not enough reviews referencing consistent gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Clean comfortable and everything there that you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is really well stocked with all the kitchen equipment you will need if you’re planning to cook and eat in. The position is great as two minutes down the hill you’re in the middle of town with shops restaurants and pubs.

    Very luxurious.

Kitchen well appointed, plenty of dishes, glasses etc. Couple of points for future guests, if guests are expected to put bedding and towels in black bin bags can they be provided and batteries need replacing in the automatic bin and velux remote, only 5 seat pads for outside chairs.
