Guests say

The Harbour Heights offers a modern, clean apartment with stunning views and a much-appreciated garage in Dartmouth. Its location is convenient for exploring the town and surrounding areas. While some guests found the beds and storage lacking in comfort and functionality, the property's cleanliness and the views from the lounge are consistently praised.

Most guests found the apartment to be spotlessly clean, though a few noted areas where attention to detail could be improved, such as bathroom cupboards and soft furnishings. Overall, the property maintains a high standard of cleanliness.

The property's location is highly praised for its amazing views and proximity to town, with the added benefit of garage parking in an area where parking is scarce. The convenience of nearby bus stops and the walkability to the waterfront are also appreciated.

Guests enjoyed the property's modern amenities and views, but several reviews mentioned that the beds were uncomfortable and the bedroom storage was inadequate. The seating and living areas were found to be comfortable.

The apartment is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, and offers garage parking. However, guests reported issues with WiFi, lighting, and showers. The feedback suggests that some facilities require maintenance or upgrading.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

The property was clean and bright with beautiful views from the large windows in the lounge. The kitchen was well equipped and the garage was a real bonus. The property was in a great location, we walked into Dartmouth most days and there was a bus that stopped outside the property if we needed it. We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

A lovely new build with stunning views but it’s let down by an eclectic collection of old and presumably unwanted furniture. Our main complaint is the bed frame and mattress which offers no support whatsoever and was very uncomfortable. Showers are a bit on the snug side and although ok, one of them is quite dark and uninviting and has been badly re-plumbed. The tv is quite old so we took a Firestick, a good tip if you want anything other than basic Freeview. The bedroom curtains offered little shade so the bedrooms were brightly sun lit by 5.30am. I did make contact with Sykes via WhatsApp before we went after I had read the previous bad review but was assured that the issues raised had been dealt with. Although cleanliness was ok, the uncomfortable bed, malfunctioning curtains and the underpants from a previous guest in the wardrobe all remained. I made further contact via WhatsApp but felt a bit fobbed off when instead taking ownership of the issues, they just sent me a link to the Sykes homepage and suggested that I raised all of the issues on another web page with a different department. In conclusion, we didn’t have a terrible experience but because of the uncomfortable bed, we left a day early and we won’t be returning.

We had to change bedrooms and use single beds because the main bed was so uncomfortable, curtains in the single bed room was not hung properly and kept falling off the rail. Overall cleaning not up to the standard we have had before in Sykes properties, large bag of ice left in freezer that was solid so we could not use, someone else’s under pants left in wardrobe, place mats needs thorough clean. A good upgrade is needed. We would not return to this property unless up grades have been made.
