The Moorings itself is an impressive development situated on the water’s edge of the beautiful Kingsbridge/Salcombe estuary and occupies probably the best situation in Kingsbridge. Set in attractive, shared, landscaped and enclosed gardens alongside the estuary, with occasional seating providing an idyllic spot to appreciate the views. The wooded banks and meadows on the opposite side are a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.

Electric gates secure the entrance to The Moorings and there are designated parking spaces for each apartment and further visitor parking too.

The town, a short walk, approximately one third of a mile on the level along the embankment, has a wide range of interesting shops, restaurants, pubs, two major supermarkets and a fine leisure centre. Good sandy beaches within 5 miles.
