Open the French patio doors on warmer days to let the outside in, and why not take a cold beverage onto the outdoor seating. You're sure to love this private spot overlooking the course and out to sea, especially at sunset. Whether you've come for golf or Devon's spectacular coastline, end your days by freshening up in the large shower room with a walk-in shower. Make yourself at home in one of two bedrooms, a super-king-size which can be made into a twin on request, and a twin, decorated with a fresh colour scheme, bedside lamps, and storage space for your belongings. At Bigbury Golf Club, you'll find an on-site bar and restaurant to take a break from the kitchen, as well as discounted green fees available to book in advance for lodge guests. Bring your pet along (only between the months of October to March) and enjoy the lovely walks in the area. Alternatively, the hamlet of St Ann's Chapel is a short drive away to pick up the essentials from the convenience store, dine at The Pickwick Inn, or the nearby Oyster Shack to taste fresh seafood! Why not pack your towels and enjoy the long stretch of sand at Bigbury Beach. At low tide, you can visit the historic Burgh Island with plenty of local stories to uncover at its unique, art deco hotel If you're looking to explore more, embark on a coastal walk for unforgettable scenes of Devon's coast, scattered with sandy coves for picnicking in the sun. Further afield, the picturesque market town of Kingsbridge is a popular location for Kingsbridge Quay and plenty of independent restaurants to choose from, including The Crabshell Inn, and a variety of bars. Explore more of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Salcombe where its Maritime Museum, South Sands Beach, and the National Trust's Overbeck's Garden are just some of the main sights, plus coastal walks galore! However you spend your holidays, Fairway Lodge has something for everyone.

A excellent local shop and The Pickwick Inn, a quaint bar providing cuisine, are both located within this small hamlet. The extension lead in the second bedroom not working - left note for Manager. We had a nightly invasion of black beetles 3 nights running in both bedrooms. We disposed of 30+, but we saw another one in the hall as we were leaving. The facilities and equipment were excellent. Suggest the brochure states a 'Full-size Fridge' - it took us a while to get this confirmed beforehand. Property could be difficult for those with 'limited mobility' as the armchairs and sofa are very low. Apologies if this sounds critical, but it is better that know these things. We had a very enjoyable stay,
Ann

Very comfortable and lovely outside seating area.Had tea and cake in the clubhouse, delicious and staff really lovely and helpful. Weather not very good but location made it easy to drive to Bigbury on Sea and take a walk even in the high wind, Choice of eating places a drive away along very narrow lanes. Plenty of fresh air!!!!!!!!!!!!
