Travel down the narrow country lane to reach the private driveway, before ascending the steps up to The Dairy. Be welcomed into the homely, open-plan living space, complete with plush seating, a TV, a rustling woodburning stove, and a small kitchen area, perfect for preparing a light meal. Watch the sun set over the Devonshire countryside from the front terrace, with a tipple in hand before retiring to the comfortable bedroom, with a sumptuous super king bed, ample storage, and an A-framed ceiling. Refresh in the sleek shower room ahead of a day of adventure, firstly grabbing a bite to eat at The Royal Oak, stocking up on the essentials at a nearby convenience store, or heading to Salcombe to dine out at a host of eateries including the Crab Shed, Winking Prawn or trying your hand at distiling your very own gin at Salcombe Gin distillary. Continue your day with a stroll across the North Sands, people watch at the harbour, discover the pretty blooms of Overbeck's Garden, or take in the beautiful scenery at Snapes Point. Reroute south to visit the picturesque landscape of Soar Mill Cove, or enjoy a hike across Bolberry Down, following the coastline and its network of walking trails. It is only two miles from Salcombe, the southernmost town in the South Hams and a popular sailing destination. Salcombe, which has a stunning, picturesque coastline, is a great place to go sailing, participate in water sports, go coastal hiking, or just relax and enjoy the sunshine. Explore the area's diverse fauna, go to some nearby rural estates and gardens, or go to the charming market town of Kingsbridge. Alternately, travel 15 miles to experience the broad fields and granite tors of Dartmoor, a wonderful vacation spot with lots to see and do.
