About this property

Seagulls, shoreline and sea views! 10 Buckley Street is absolutely perfect for a traditional bucket and spade seaside holiday. Plus, it's dog friendly too!

Designed for family living, inside it's a joyful space; sink-into beds invite long lie-ins to the soundtrack of the seaside and the glorious kitchen with twinkling sea views make this cottage a family holiday location of dreams. Outside it’s all about life’s simplest pleasures; a beautiful sun drenched alfresco dining area for family BBQs - plus oodles of room for storing paddle boards, kayaks and wake boards

10 Buckley Street is in a brilliantly central Salcombe location, with wonderful sea views and plenty of space in the front and back gardens. Located on Buckley Street, it is close to all the action on and off the water, but in a quiet residential part of the town. Fore Street with its independent shops, butchers, bakers and grocery store are only yards away, and the quayside is just as close.

This is a perfect holiday home for two families sharing, or one multi-generational family as the house sleeps up to nine people across four bedrooms in total comfort.

Walking up the steps through the front garden (which catches the morning sunshine), you will enter into the ground floor hallway. At the front is a downstairs sitting room with TV and DVD player which is the perfect space for the youngsters to have a little time away from the grown-ups!

There are two bedrooms on this floor. The first is a gorgeous large kingsize bedroom with en suite bathroom (that has divine grey herringbone tiles) with a big bath and overhead shower. The second bedroom has gloriously comfy twin beds and sliding windows out to a small patio area with table and chairs. There is a practical yet beautiful shower room next door to this bedroom.

The utility room can also be found on this floor, with separate washing machine and tumble dryer, sink and drying rack, perfect for sorting wet swimming costumes and keeping all mess firmly out of site!

Up to the first floor and there is the most beautiful and spacious open plan kitchen, dining and reception room which overlooks the estuary. Sitting here, with the log burner lit and a glass of something in hand whilst taking in the views is very special indeed.

The kitchen is incredibly well equipped (there is even a second dishwasher and bar area hidden at the back of the kitchen) and the entertaining space is fabulous. The dining table can easily seat up to ten guests with space for more should you need.

Up the stairs from the open plan area are two further bedrooms. The master kingsize bedroom at the front of the house has sensational sea views over the harbour and town, and has a lovely dressing area and en suite bathroom. Next door to this is a shower room plus another kingsize bedroom which sits on a plinth and has gorgeous views over the rear garden.

At the back of the kitchen are steps down to the rear garden which catches the evening sun. Enjoy al fresco dining using the BBQ, table and chairs. Both the front and rear gardens are great spaces for storing any of your kit such as paddle boards, kayaks and wake boards.

Please no smoking inside the property.

Two dogs very welcome at 10 Buckley Street. There is an additional charge of £45 per dog and we ask that dogs are not encouraged on the furniture. We recommend bringing your dog's bed along with you for snoozing after their beach fun!

Allergies: please note that dogs have been in 10 Buckley Street.

We absolutely loved it. Such a wonderful space. We knew Buckley street well as friends have a place a few doors up but number 10 was so well laid out and presented.

We had a fabulous time! It's such a wonderful house and so well equipped.

We had a lovely time. We particularly liked the location of the house and being able to take the ferry and walk to the paddleboarding/kayaking centre.
