Guests say

Guests have praised the apartment's superb location, impressive views, and the bonus of a pool. The property is described as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a special mention of the nautical-themed decor. However, some guests faced challenges with accessibility due to stairs and the absence of a lift, and there were occasional comments on maintenance and cleanliness issues.

Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the apartment to be very clean, while others reported issues with dirty washing left behind and the need to clean kitchenware upon arrival. The variance in experiences suggests room for improvement.

The location is consistently praised for being in the heart of Salcombe with amazing views and proximity to the main quay. Despite some concerns about parking and accessibility, the location is a standout feature.

The apartment is generally found to be comfortable with home comforts and a welcoming atmosphere. However, some guests mentioned steep steps and difficulty with the shower, indicating that comfort could be enhanced for those with mobility issues.

Facilities like the well-equipped kitchen and pool are appreciated, but several guests reported maintenance issues such as an ancient shower unit, lack of signage, and noise from refurbishments. These detract from the overall experience.

There is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches in the reviews provided, so it is not possible to assess this category.

Apartment was not as clean as it could be, but that is nit picking….., we had to wash the cups and glasses before using them. Windows and frames etc need a clean. Need to advise guests to bring their own chairs/lounges for the garden/pool.

Amazing views as well. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Well equipped and the leather sofas bespoke for a perfect fit. Nautical theme throughout, loved the sailing yacht above the bed. Lugging of our baggage was a bind from the lower car park was made easier using the street entrance.( no lift to second floor) However, the 12ins step between levels in the appt. Made things awkward for my wife, recovering from a hip operation. I just can't understand why the owner hasn't installed a secondary step or a grab handle on the wall. Beware of the loud noises from the appts. above when they move and drag their terrace furniture on the balconies above.Very annoying.
