Guests appreciate the property's excellent location and the beautiful views it offers. The accommodation is generally well-regarded for its cleanliness and thoughtful touches, although some guests have noted areas in need of refurbishment and maintenance. The property's charm and convenience for exploring Salcombe are frequently mentioned positives.
The property is often described as clean, with specific praise for the kitchen and some areas on arrival. However, there are mentions of a dirty fridge, mug, and patio, as well as grubby cushions, which suggest room for improvement in cleanliness standards.
The location is highly praised for its centrality in Salcombe, proximity to amenities, and beautiful harbour views. It is considered ideal for exploring the town and enjoying local attractions.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While some guests find the property cosy and welcoming, others report issues with a damp bedroom, an uncomfortable mattress, and a second bedroom not suitable for adults, indicating that comfort could be enhanced.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-appointed kitchen and the provision of towels despite contrary instructions. However, reports of maintenance issues like dampness, mould, and the need for refurbishment in some areas suggest that the facilities could be better maintained.
While guests have expressed appreciation for the property's amenities and some thoughtful touches, there is no mention of gifts or special extras that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. Well equipped with everything you could need . Fab kitchen with lovely views . Massive main bedroom and bathroom with underfloor heating . My husband and I stayed in the smaller twin room which was comfy. The shower room is small but we managed at our height if 5ft 5. Parking arrangements worked well for us. The accommodation was great for the two of us and everything was spotless. It was well equipped to a very high standard. The little patio provided great views and a welcome outside space. We had everything we needed for a very relaxing break. Only problem we found was that DVD player connected to the TV OK, but didnât seem to read the discs. Overall a very positive experience. Thanks.
Jennifer
The view was lovely and we would certainly like to return one day. Only minor niggle was that the rubbish was not collected and the details in the property about recycling at the Batson Creek car park should be amended as they no longer exist.
