4 Blue View is a wonderful duplex apartment which has a new kitchen and flooring in preparation for the 2023 season. 4 Blue View is situated in Devon Road approximately 10-15 minutes walk from Salcombe's delightful waterfront, shops, pubs, and restaurants. The beautiful sandy beaches of East Portlemouth and Millbay can be quickly accessed via the small passenger ferry that runs from the town all year round.
With two bedrooms in total, the master is an en suite with a King-size bed and plenty of clothes storage. The second bedroom has two single beds and a picture window opening to a balcony with delightful views. In addition to the en-suite is a family bathroom with a bath, hand basin, w.c and heated towel rail. A cloakroom on the lower level offers a w.c and basin. To the front of the apartment is a terraced area with a table, chairs and barbeque. There is an allocated space for one medium sized car off-road beneath the building.

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

Parking space a bonus, not easy to get in or out of depending on residents or size of car. Not sure this was clear in the listing details. Had a great stay Salcombe is beautiful and the flat had everything you needed and more.

We particularly enjoyed the upper balcony in the morning sunshine and it also shelters from wind and rain, depending on direction, of course. The flat is tastefully furnished, comfortable and well-equipped with good quality appliances, crockery etc. as well as comfortable sofas and beds. Good to have control of the heating too. The parking space itself is a real bonus and is easily large enough for our estate car, although care needed getting in and out. The flat is a great base for accessing Salcombeâs beaches and also walking both Bolt Head and Bolt Tail and further afield Hope Cove etc. Be prepared for the uphill walk back from town.

The property is easy to locate, including accessing the key on arrival. The views are incredible and access to the town is very convenient. We did have an issue with the balcony door which we raised with the office and they swiftly came back with next steps. Would certainly recommended the property for anyone with 4 person to stay here.
