A warm Salcombe welcome awaits you at our waterside bolthole nestled on Devon's seashore with panoramic ocean vistas and and luxurious interiors...
Little Painter really is a special holiday home. From its enviable location right in the middle of Salcombe (yet set along peaceful Buckley Street) to the most sensational views over the Salcombe estuary from every floor of the cottage.
The position of the cottage means you can quickly duck out to the bakery for a freshly baked croissant in the morning, or for the more energetic, leap onto the paddle board for a potter along the harbour.
Entering the cottage into the open plan living area you are immediately struck by the bright airy space and super stylish furnishings. The comfortable seating area has gorgeous views over the twinkling estuary and one of the paintings transforms into the television (great invention Samsung).
The well-equipped kitchen is a dream for cooking and entertaining, and the dining area makes for a very sociable space for buzzing breakfasts or boozy suppers.
Heading upstairs, there is a bright family bathroom on the landing with a bath and overhead shower. The master bedroom (with kingsize bed) is beautifully styled, spacious and with sensational views over the water.
Up to the third floor is the second bedroom (with kingsize bed) beautifully adorned and with those panoramic views to boot. A shower room with the most wonderful tiles sits next to the bedroom for washing away the days activities.
Little Painter is a real gem; the location and style completely deliver, and the sea and Salcombe high street are within striking distance for the very best of holidays.

Beautiful house in a wonderful location, the children loved swimming off the quay and then running back for a shower! The views from the house are stunning. Comfy beds and beautifully decorated. Will definitely want to stay again!

Another great week at Little Painter. The house is always very comfortable, clean and has an inviting feel with nice welcoming touches and great amenities for guests. Location excellent – just a few steps to Fore Street with its dining options and the two local ferry ports – but despite its very central location, the house is still wonderfully quiet & peaceful. We love it! Parking permit for the nearby car parks works very well and the internet is great. Definitely 5 stars from us!
