Moult Hill Barn in Salcombe is highly praised for its spaciousness, modern amenities, and beautiful location. Guests appreciate the property's suitability for large groups and families, with special mention of its well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. The tranquil setting and proximity to beaches add to the charm, although some guests note the approach can be challenging. The property's open-plan design and outdoor spaces are recurrent positive themes.
Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, with a few noting areas that could benefit from additional attention. The overall impression is of a clean and welcoming environment.
The property's location is generally appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to beaches, though some guests mention the steep and narrow access roads. The rural setting near Salcombe is considered ideal for a peaceful retreat.
The property is lauded for its spaciousness and comfortable main bedrooms. However, some guests found the bunk beds less comfortable and the open-plan design occasionally problematic for noise. Outdoor seating comfort was also a concern for some.
Facilities are well-regarded, particularly the kitchen and en-suite bathrooms. Some guests suggest improvements in Wi-Fi speed, outdoor furniture, and maintenance of certain areas. The presence of flies due to rural surroundings was noted.
While some guests were delighted with welcome gifts and proactive service, there is insufficient information to determine if such thoughtfulness is consistent across all stays. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should note that gifts are not guaranteed.

One person was in a wheelchair and the property is well suited, its very spacious, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and at first sight everything looked good but the detail - Under the cushions of the settees was filthy (so bad that we spent an hour cleaning them ourselves), microwave is rusting, Barbecue was filthy, both double beds in the bunk rooms were propped up on bricks, door handle on landing to balcony had dropped off, door handle to one of the upstairs bedrooms was loose, black mold in downstairs bunk bed bathroom, toilet role holder dropped off(stuck on) in other bunk bed downstairs shower room, the corner behind large tv was dirty and covered in cobwebs, extract fan in one of the downstairs bathrooms not working. All such a shame and unnecessary it has been and could be a fantastic holiday home.
