We had to clean the barbecue before we could use it and again afterwards as this was a requirement. Obviously previous people hadnât done this as it was rather dirty. Also the instructions regarding the rubbish collections were confusing and gave different days and details. Otherwise we had a wonderful holiday here.

It was even great in a rainy week! The window seat for reading and watching the water, was fantastic and the bedroom stunning! We hope to return again.

Beds were very comfortable. High tech oven which took a bit of getting used to, great gas hob and excellent range of cooking utensils etc. A bonus to have two parking spaces as rare in this fantastic coastal town. The steps were a challenge, but good for health and working off lovely food from Salcombe pubs. Only issue was with en suite shower, not flowing away despite using the plunger we found in a cupboard, we did report this and the bins in kitchen had not been cleaned sufficiently so smelt of rotting fish and were wet with food juices under the bin bags. We still had a wonderful holiday and hope to return again.
