Guests generally appreciate the holiday rental's central yet quiet location in Salcombe, with its proximity to the town centre and parking convenience. The property is described as clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with particularly comfortable beds and well-appointed bathrooms. Some guests have noted minor maintenance issues and suggested improvements, but these do not detract from the overall positive experiences shared by many who have stayed.
Most guests found the property to be clean and tidy, with specific praise for its immaculate condition upon arrival. However, there were some concerns about the level of cleaning in the kitchen and communal areas, which suggests room for improvement.
The property's location is highly praised for being central and convenient, with easy access to Salcombe town. The picturesque views and on-site parking are appreciated, although the steep walk back from town may be challenging for some.
Guests have found the beds very comfortable and the property warm and welcoming. However, there are comments about uncomfortable sofas and a need for better lighting, which indicates that while the property is generally comfortable, there are aspects that could be enhanced.
The property is well-equipped with essential facilities, and guests are pleased with the bathrooms and kitchen. Nonetheless, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as faulty appliances and the need for clearer instructions for heating, which affects the overall score.
While the reviews reflect that the property is well-kept and some guests have had their issues promptly resolved by staff, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, a score cannot be provided for this category.

We were 4 adults and 2 smaller children so very much maximum capacity but the spacious hallway and plenty of bathrooms means itâs no problem. Just a couple of improvements- the new dining table means that only 5 of us could sit around it at any one time, unless we pulled an outside chair in from the balcony ( our children are young but not highchair sized!). Also the mattress in the back bedroom feels old ( sags in the middle) which is a great shame as otherwise it would have been all full stars in terms of feedback but it really didnât make for a great nights sleep unfortunately. We did have a maintenance issue on arrival which needed immediate attention but called up and someone came very promptly and remedied it. Would recommend and definitely consider staying again and new kitchen was well equipped ( although no oven gloves).

The lift was very handy as my partner has some mobility issues . The apartment was clean and comfortable

The bed sheets appear too small for the beds and keep coming loose, which does not make for a comfortable sleep. Whilst we love the location and general ambience of the flat, we do believe that it needs to receive some attention. Currently, I would not describe the property as 'luxury'.
