Set in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds of four acres, the privately owned cottages surround two attractive courtyards and the majority have superb, uninterrupted views down the valley to the sea at Thurlestone/South Milton Sands. The cottages enjoy the use of both outdoor and indoor swimming pools, games room with table tennis and pool, an all-weather tennis court, and the grounds include an orchard and croquet lawn. The sandy beach at South Milton, with the Beach House Café, is only a mile away

Outside: Court Barton is approached along a private drive. Grouped around and accessed from two courtyards, with manicured lawns, each cottage has either its own private terrace or balcony provided with garden furniture. The extensive grounds are enclosed and bordered by fields with outstanding views down to the sea.

Outdoor swimming pool. 5m x 9.8m heated and available from end of May to September weather permitting.

Indoor swimming pool. 5.5m x 11m heated and available all year. His and hers changing rooms. Shower room.

Tennis Court. Hard court. Rackets and balls provided.

Croquet Lawn. Croquet set provided. Built-in barbecue alongside.

Reception. 9 am to 5 pm Monday, Thursday and Friday in high season (varies in low/mid season).

 

Court Barton - The Round House:

The Round House is a unique property and offers excellent entertaining space and sumptuous sleeping quarters. Having recently been extended to include a next door cottage, the entire property has undergone an extensive refurbishment and offers five star accommodation. The breath-taking reception room enjoys sweeping views across fields to the sea and the master suite is stunning with an open plan bathroom and French roll top bath. Every luxury has been catered for with beautiful interior design and L'occitane bathroom products.

Accommodation: Ground floor open plan living room, SMART TV, DVD, iPod dock with surround sound, dining area and access to the terrace. Kitchen, ceramic hob, eye level double ovens, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Utility room with washing machine and dryer. Bedroom 1, super-king size bed (6ft), TV and en suite bathroom with shower over bath. Bedroom 2, twin single beds. Bathroom with separate shower. Office/TV room with TV. Bedroom 3, twin single beds. First floor, master bedroom suite, super-king size bed (6ft), stand alone bath, walk in shower and en suite cloakroom.

Outside: Raised decked terrace with garden furniture and barbecue with far reaching countryside and sea views.

Should you wish to leave the comfort of this delightful place, less than a mile away is the beach at Thurlestone Sands, wonderful for sunbathing, swimming and watersports, with the village of Thurlestone itself a little further on with its famous links golf course. The beautiful sailing mecca of the Salcombe estuary with its golden beaches is only 3 miles.
