Nestled into the terraced cottage collection that forms an integral part of the Gitcombe Estate, Haytor offers self-catering sanctuary for up to six guests in the heart of the Devonshire countryside. With a soothing colour palette of soft blues and paisley prints, this cosy nook forms a beautiful base camp to explore the region from.

The Entrance

On arrival, Haytor is accessed via a small flight of stone steps, offering pretty views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can also enjoy the convenience of a communal parking area directly behind the barns.

Cooking, Dining & Other Essentials

The compact yet thoughtfully designed kitchen has everything you may need to serve up beautiful breakfasts, luscious lunches and delicious dinners for your loved ones – the only things you need to provide are the ingredients! The adjacent wooden dining table at the edge of the island comfortably seats six (via a pull-out bench) and looks out onto the private roof terrace. Socialising is a breeze with the open-plan dining layout, ensuring you don’t miss out on the fun whilst keeping a keen eye on the pans!

Living

The light and airy living area (accentuated by the vaulted ceilings and large French doors) comes complete with a soft and cosy sofa, plus three armchairs centred around a gorgeous wood-burning fire and digital television. French doors from this charming living area open out onto a private roof terrace, enabling the natural beauty of the great outdoors to flood in. The living area remains lovely and warm, even during the cooler months, with luxurious underfloor heating – ideal for padding around in bare feet on lazy mornings!

Bedroom One – Sleep soundly in a king-sized bedroom with contemporary en-suite shower room complete with heated towel rail. French doors open up to the chic patio for a peaceful cup of tea before the day begins.

Bedroom Two – A slightly smaller bedroom with two twin beds.

Bedroom Three – Ideal for sleepovers, this bedroom features an L-shaped twin bunk, that is ideal for children under 12.

Family Bathroom – Deep, bubbly tub with shower over and heated towel rail.
