Guests have praised the property for its cleanliness, comfort, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners, such as home-made cakes and fresh eggs. While some minor maintenance issues and Wi-Fi connectivity concerns were mentioned, the overall experience has been highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean and well-maintained, though there were a few reports of cleanliness issues such as a dirty carpet and cobwebs, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The location is frequently described as quiet, convenient, and ideal for exploring the surrounding areas, with good walks for dogs and proximity to attractions, contributing to a high score.

The lodge is generally considered comfortable and well-equipped. However, there were some complaints about mattress comfort and minor amenities missing, which suggests room for improvement.

Facilities are appreciated, especially the farm shop and swimming pool. Some guests experienced issues with French doors and other maintenance concerns, indicating a need for attention in this area.

Guests have positively noted the thoughtful welcome packs and gifts. It should be noted that while these are appreciated, such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lodge has lovely views across countryside. Only comments for improvement would be a dressing table in bedroom plus a TV. Recommend a visit.

We took a small dog and the lodge, and site, were excellent for walking him, and the lodge had a large decking area which was secure. Good choice of satellite tv, good heating and hot water. Only problem was wi fi which was very weak and only useful for basic tasks.
