Chudleigh, a historic wool town in Devon's picturesque Teignbridge District, is a wonderful day trip destination any time of year. There are relics from the town's Saxon past, such as the names of streets and landmarks, as well as more recent ones, like the caverns at Rock and the Iron Age hillfort that overlooks it.
