The kitchen cupboards smelt damp and musty and we had to move all the plates and dishes and wash them before use and then leave them out which cluttered the small kitchen. Also we came down every morning to find snail/slug trails all over the floor and worktops so again a clean up was required before we could start our day. Another issue we had was whilst we were out on the Tuesday the owner took it upon herself to go into the property without informing us first to put the rubbish bins out for the following day, we were going to do this as per instructions. Apart from the above issues we would have been happy to book this cottage again in the future.

Welcome pack is an appreciated addition. Karen & Alan Murray.

Nice coffee shop on the front and both the chippie and Indian restaurant were worth it. The difficulty lies in the parking, spaces are limited at the front of the cottage - this was unclear to us when we booked. After a 4.5-hour drive, the last thing you want is to search for somewhere to leave the car. It all turned out ok in the end as the car park across the road was easily accessible and not too expensive. Overall we had a good stay
