Just 2 miles away, Hartland is a bustling little village with local amenities including pubs and coffee shops, a perfect starting point for endless walks around the heritage peninsula.
Cosiness is prioritised in this warm, inviting abode, a place with underfloor heating, a warming wood burner and heated towel rails in two modern, well-appointed bathrooms. Original features including limestone flooring and handsome beams sit alongside homely decor to create an instantly appealing space, particularly in the lounge with its TV/DVD and bi-fold doors beckoning you into the garden. Pass by the kitchen/diner as you move onto the first floor where three peaceful bedrooms await; two with king-size beds and TVs, and one cosy twin room. Outside, the garden’s large lawned space with a BBQ and outdoor furniture is enclosed for pets and children.
Those with younger children in tow will be pleased to find an endless array of attractions close by including The Milky Way Adventure Park, the North Devon Wake Park (both 6 miles) and Bude’s Monster Slip and Slide (15.5 miles). For a less adrenaline-pumping day out, the pretty Hartland Abbey and Gardens (3 miles) will appeal with an endless estate to explore. The pebbled shores of Abbey River Beach are also nearby (4 miles), set on the South West Coast Path with access to endless walks and spots to admire seaside scenery.
