A spacious and well appointed apartment overlooking the Torridge Estuary in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore
A well appointed second floor apartment in a great position on the Quay in the picturesque fishing village of Appledore. Both the main living area and one of the bedrooms has the most wonderful views out over the estuary towards the popular beach resort and watersports centre of Instow(a small walk on ferry is available in season for crossing the estuary). There is always something to view on the estuary as the tide ebs and flows including a variety of sailing boats, kite surfing and canoeing. With great facilities including two bedrooms with ensuite facilities and flexible sleeping this is an ideal property for both couples and small families. Appledore offers a wonderful choice of individual shops, cafes,restaurants and pubs and this apartment is situated above a delightful cafe and delicatessen. The huge surfing sands of Westward Ho!, Elizabethan Port Town of Bideford and the spectacular coastline of North Devon and Cornwall are all within a 30 minute comfortable drive.

lobsters Loft is home from home to us. We have visited Appledore and in particular Lobsters loft for several years now and have always found it no matter what the weather to be the most relaxing and comfortable base. Lobsters loft is always clean, fresh and comfortable and we love, love , love it. We will be booking again soon for our 2025 summer break .
