Bucks Mills Beach is a 13-minute walk from the accommodation, while Gauter Beach is 1. 6 miles away.  The nearest airport is Newquay Cornwall Airport, 55 miles from Bucklands at Bideford Bay.

Bideford Bay Holiday Park offers everything you could ask for and more.

With a picturesque hillside setting offering spectacular sea views, it's perfectly located for costal walks, outstanding beaches and beautiful scenery.

The park has 2 swimming pools, the outdoor pool has a log flume, adventure playground, soft play and other seasonal kids activities as well as a bar and restaurant with daily entertainment.

The chalet has 2 bedrooms; the master bedroom has a king size bed and built in wardrobes.

The second bedroom has bunk beds and the option of a third pull out child’s bed or travel cot which can be requested when booking.

The chalet has an open plan light and airy living space and come with a fully equipped kitchen and washing machine.

The living area has two comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs, TV with built in DVD player and we have a selection of games, DVDs, toys and books for you to enjoy during your stay

Beds will be made up with fresh linen, and we provide a hand towel, bath mat and bath towels and a tea towel. We kindly ask guests to bring along their own beach / pool towels as we don’t supply them.

We also have a high chair if needed.

Holiday park activities (swimming pools etc) are not included in the price. Access is by purchasing a pass from main reception for the duration of your stay

The heated outdoor pool is open late May - mid September.

We live in rural North Devon with our 3 children and absolutely adore the area and feel very lucky to live where we do.

We all love being outside and enjoying the countryside and in our spare time, love spending time on the beach or exploring forests; there is so much to do and explore.

When we're not hosting guests, we love coming up to Bideford Bay on a weekend as well. It's a perfect place for us to unwind and the kids enjoying all the activities it has to offer.

Nearby, you'll find Clovelly, a historic fishing village with a unique cliffside setting. Traverse its steep cobbled high street to discover characterful cottages, a harbour and a shingle beach.

For more action on the sands, visit Woolacombe Bay, Croyde Bay or Westward Ho! - a popular spot with surfers and sunbathers thanks to its powder-soft sands and first rate surfing conditions!

If you prefer your adrenaline thrills on dry land, the Milky Way Adventure Park and the Big Sheep are nearby.

The towns of Bideford & Barnstaple are both a short drive away and offer a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. You can also take a trip from Bideford Quay to Lundy Island.

The park makes a perfect base for exploring the area.
