The location is perfect for exploring North Devon. During our stay, we organized our own treks to Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks, visited several stunning beaches, and highly recommend a visit to Castle Drogo, which includes a fantastic trek. The cottage also has a fishery on-site, which inspired my son to learn how to fish—a wonderful and unexpected bonus! The owners were lovely and always available if we had any issues. The only downside was that the cottage was advertised with a hot tub, which turned out not to be the case. However, Sykes quickly corrected the error in the listing. Despite this, we had an amazing time and would love to return, hopefully with fishing rods in hand and a bit more experience! This has truly been our best holiday yet.
