About this property
... about 1½ miles east of Chagford and 2 from Moretonhampstead, beside a lane, a little cottage attached to the owners' farmhouse of a 300 acre mixed farm (cattle, sheep, free range poultry) including woodland and ponds (wild duck often). You are welcome on the farm and to use the owners' garden - lawns to front and back; a barn where swallows nest is next door.
Inside, living room (woodburner, big beams, TV/DVD) open to dining area and fitted kitchen (slimline dishwasher, microwave). Stairs from living room up to two bedrooms – a double, and a single (plus 2'6" bed, by arrangement). Bathroom (suite plus hand-shower). Use of owners' washing machine and tumble drier. Fresh veg when available. A very friendly and much appreciated place.
