Gather family or friends and three dogs and escape to this three-bedroom property, set within a five-star estate in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. With an array of on-site facilities, including a swimming pool and tennis courts, this is an ideal choice for those wanting outdoor adventure, tranquillity, comfort, and luxury.
Spread across three floors, the open-plan living area on the first floor is the main hub of the house and features a high ceiling, pleasant decor, and comfortable furnishings throughout. There’s ample room to chat, read a book, or watch a film on the Smart TV while on chillier nights cosy up in front of the flame-effect fireplace. When it’s time to eat, cook up a storm in the well-appointed kitchen then gather around the dining table overlooking the beautiful countryside. A casual kitchen table is also available for quick meals. Come bedtime, retire upstairs to the beautifully presented en-suite super-king-size bedroom, and enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Two additional super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms are located on the lower floor. Each bedroom, furnished in fresh tones, boasts an en-suite bathroom and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that open onto a tranquil terrace. Back on the middle floor, a decked balcony is perfectly set up for al fresco dining. Light the BBQ and dine in style while soaking up the serene views.
The estate offers something for everyone with on-site facilities including a swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, gym, and children’s swings and climbing frames. You can also explore the estate’s beautiful grounds or venture out and discover the rugged tors and scenic trails on foot or by bike. For excellent shopping and dining options, head 17 miles to the vibrant city of Exeter. Further afield the coastal towns of Teignmouth (20miles) and Torquay (24miles) provide beaches and water-sports, and the city of Plymouth with its National Marine Aquarium (a fantastic attraction for adults and children alike) and the historic Barbican area with the Mayflower steps where the Pilgrim Fathers are believed to have left England on board the Mayflower ship in 1620 to cross the Atlantic and settle in America.
On occasion the hotel has private functions in it’s lounges, bar and restaurants that may affect their availability to our lodge guests.
