Stay close to home and enjoy activities on your doorstep, perhaps even fishing for tonight’s tea in one of the lakes! Lace up your walking boots to traipse the country roads that lead to Okehampton, your nearest town, which is 6 miles away. There are, of course, more waymarked pathways that lead deep into the Dartmoor National Park, including routes around the mystical Scorhill Stone Circle (6.5 miles). For those who prefer seaside adventures, reach the sea and marvellous coastal path within 35 miles.
