Guests generally praise the property for its excellent location, cleanliness, and stunning views of Swanage bay. The accommodation is well-regarded for its comfort and high standard of furnishings. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with special appreciation for the welcome pack provided.
The property is consistently described as very clean, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. One review mentioned minor housekeeping issues, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the sea, level walking access, and quiet yet convenient position close to town amenities. The views are frequently mentioned as a highlight.
Comfort is well-received with guests finding the property well-furnished and homely. However, some guests noted issues with beds and a futon, slightly impacting the comfort score.
Facilities are generally good, but several reviews point out maintenance issues such as a streaming toilet, dripping tap, and problems with the A/V equipment. These are offset by positive comments on the property's equipment and provisions.
Guests appreciate the provisions provided upon arrival, such as a welcome pack with scones, jam, and cream. It is noted that such gestures add to the experience, though it is politely mentioned that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

Pier View is named after the wonderful views of Swanage Bay and Pier available at this modern and comfortable holiday home. Located at The Haven, an exclusive, tranquil complex on the southern tip of Swanage bay, the property has some of the best views around - even reaching as far as Old Harry rocks and the Isle of Wight.
Arranged over three floors, the property has a spacious and light feel with plenty of feature windows framing the gorgeous views. The two double bedrooms are located on the first floor of the property, both with their own en-suite, modern tiled bathroom. From the main bedroom at the front of the property, you can enjoy a cup of tea whilst soaking in the views of Swanage bay. Up to the second floor, you will find the open plan living room with a choice of two balconies. You can open the doors to the Juliette balcony or relax out on the bistro style seating and listen to the sounds of the sea on the main balcony, the choice is yours!
The living room is comfortable and relaxing, with a flat screen TV and DVD player to cosy up on cooler nights. Also on the same floor is the open plan kitchen and dining room, just across from the living area. Enjoy a cooking up a Sunday brunch in the kitchen, where you can still see glimpses of the sea.
Exploring the seaside town of Swanage will not leave you disappointed - the vibrant high street has a delightful mix of shops and cafes perfect for a mornings shopping, beyond the high street is the long sandy beach and Durlston Country Park. Mr Campbell
I hesitate to review the property because of all the shortcomings in the housekeeping which rather spoilt our enjoyment if all these minor faults had been addressed, I should have given it a rating of excellent.
Mr Doorbar
Great quality and clean facilities, short walk to Swanage town but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Lovely view of the bay and Pier. Really enjoyed watching the Paddle Steamer Waverly docking at the Pier from the balcony.
Mr Isaac
Lovely apartment overlooking the pier and waterfront, always something interesting going on. Very comfortable furniture and beds. We (in our seventies) found the circular stairs from the ground to third floor challenging.
