While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Most reviews suggest the cottage is clean and comfortable, with only a few guests reporting issues with cobwebs and a musty smell. The positive remarks outweigh the negatives, indicating a generally high standard of cleanliness.
The location is frequently praised for its quietness, proximity to local attractions, and the natural beauty of the surrounding area. However, a few guests noted the need to drive to shops and activities, slightly impacting the score.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the cosy atmosphere and the well-furnished interiors. Some concerns about the dining area being tight and the heating system being outdated are noted.
The reviews provide mixed feedback on facilities and maintenance. While the kitchen is well-stocked and the gardens are appreciated, there are comments about the lack of a washing machine and some maintenance issues. Due to the varied nature of the feedback, a definitive score cannot be provided.

Our dog really liked the extensive gardens. .

The owners were lovely and friendly and helpful too. We loved the big garden as did our dog. The area was very peaceful and I would have liked to stay longer. The only negative was that the fridge is very small, you canât stock up fridge items so meant lots of trips to the shops. Still a lovely home from home and so great to find somewhere so dog friendly.
