With its outstanding coastal location, Gabrianne has been designed with a large group in mind, perfect for families seeking a traditional holiday by the sea and to enjoy all that this corner of Dorset has to offer. At the end of each day, look forward to catching your rest within the spacious living room, boasting a bright and airy aura with elegant furnishing and fixtures, adding a sense of charm to the room. Relax on the inviting L-shape sofa to delve into a good book or to browse the channels of the TV. Joining the space is a formal dining table with eight chairs, where you can look forward to tucking into a takeaway or a home-cooked meal, accompanied with a glass of wine or two, perfect for toasting to a wonderful holiday in Dorset. The chef of the group can look forward to making the most of the quality appliances that are on hand to rustle up family-favourite dishes, as well as the ample preparation space for packing up picnics for the next day’s beach adventure. From here, you will discover the handy utility, featuring a washing machine, perfect for freshening up your sandy belongings after a day at the beach. Balmy afternoons invite you to relax within the large conservatory, boasting superb rattan furniture and the large windows affords a constant connection with the beautiful garden and beyond. The sunshine may tempt you to take your drinks outside, where a table and chairs are perfectly positioned for admiring the views further and the spacious lawn allows your canine companion and the younger guests of the group to run freely. As the evening draws to a close, return inside to find your sleeping spots, comprising of a king size bedroom, boasting crisp white linens and fluffy towels along with a convenient en-suite wet room, whilst along the hallway you will find an additional king-size bedroom with fitted wardrobe and distant sea views. Bedroom three boasts a twin layout with fitted wardrobe and the final bedroom houses a bunk bed, where you can wake up and appreciate the countryside views. Within walking distance of the cottage, you will be spoilt for choice by the two pubs that are within walking distance, each serving superb food, as well as The Hive Beach Café on Hive Beach for small snacks and ice cream. Within the village, you will also find a post office and a shop, so that you can pick up any holiday essentials and treats to take to the beach. Burton Bradstock is a scenic drive away from the West Bay, famous for being the setting of the ITV series Broadchurch, and the market town of Bridport is just slightly further afield, perfect for a spot of shopping. If fossil hunting is your desire, be sure to spend time on the nearby Charmouth Beach and for those keen walkers, Golden Cap, Dorset’s highest peak, is an energetic six miles along the South West Coast Path and offers some of the most spectacular views in Dorset. For those seeking something more leisurely, you could visit the Langdon Hill National Trust or those within children will be delighted by the nearby resort town of Weymouth with its choice of beaches, aquarium, Escape Dungeons and Alexandra Gardens. With much more of the Jurassic Coastline within an easy car ride, Gabrianne is perfectly situated for those seeking an action-packed break.
Burton Bradstock is a small, yet delightful village resting in the Bride Valley on Dorset's picturesque Jurassic Coast. The village is filled with 16th and 17th-century thatched cottages as well as two pubs, a shop and a Post Office, making a great base for exploring the South West Coastal Path and a for a peaceful break on England's south coast. Nearby is the glistening Hive Beach, whilst slightly further afield is the coastal resort of Weymouth.
