East Barn in Dorset receives high praise for its idyllic location, cleanliness, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the property's peacefulness, quality furnishings, and the thoughtful touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The picturesque views and proximity to local attractions add to the charm of this cottage, making it a favoured choice for a relaxing getaway.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with reports of it being 'very clean throughout'. One mention of dampness due to weather conditions slightly impacts the score, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is celebrated for its tranquillity and proximity to beaches and local sights. The rural setting next to a dairy farm adds to the charm, although access via single-track lanes is noted.
The comfort of East Barn is well-received, with mentions of good quality furnishings and a cosy atmosphere. However, a comment about an uncomfortable mattress and insufficient quilt size slightly lowers the score.
Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and of high quality. Minor issues such as a broken light bulb and a non-functioning bathroom lock are noted, indicating room for improvement in maintenance.
