This cottage has been completely renovated to provide a modern, yet character filled cottage and is a perfect couple's retreat. Boasting a rare private courtyard garden, cosy living room and bespoke kitchen, this bright and imaginative cottage is the perfect holiday oasis. Dorchester as the county town of Dorset has lots to offer from exceptional restaurants and boutique shops, to high street amenities and many visitor attractions including Hardy's Cottage, the Military Museum, Roman Townhouse, Maiden Castle Roman Fort and Poundbury. The Georgian fronted seaside town of Weymouth is just a short 10-minute drive away, and the rest of the Jurassic Coastline is easy to access and explore from a base in Dorchester.

Accommodation: Entrance from front door onto a small landing with two steps down to Lounge/Kitchen/Diner. Narrow steep cottage stairs to first floor: Mezzanine bedroom with double bed accessed from one side only, please see photos and VT. Shower room with shower, hand basin and toilet.

Additional services: WiFi. Electric underfloor heating. The enclosed walled garden is accessed directly opposite the front door of the house. There is an allocated parking place approximately five minutes' walk from the property.  One small pet is welcome. Linen and towels are inclusive. Not suitable for children.

Note: The Little House has a unique location along a twisting pedestrian lane hidden behind one of the main streets in Dorchester. The path is in parts original and traditional brick / cobbled and slightly uneven (see photos) and as such may not be suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
