Guests say

Guests consistently praise the apartment's cleanliness, prime location near the seafront and town centre, and the convenience of on-site parking. The property is described as well-equipped, comfortable, and beautifully presented, offering a cosy atmosphere. While some guests mention minor issues such as tight parking and the absence of a hand-held shower attachment, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Reviewers frequently highlight the property's exceptional cleanliness, describing it as 'spotless', 'clean and fresh', and 'extremely clean'. The consistent emphasis on cleanliness across reviews justifies a near-perfect score.

The property's location is repeatedly commended for its proximity to the beach, harbour, shops, and restaurants. Guests appreciate the short walks to local amenities, contributing to a high score for location.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the apartment cosy and the beds comfortable. However, a few comments about the sofa bed being less comfortable and the property getting very hot during a heatwave slightly lower the score.

Facilities are generally praised, including a well-equipped kitchen and a generous welcome pack. Some minor criticisms, such as the lack of a hand-held shower attachment, a challenging microwave, and a few out light bulbs, lead to a slightly reduced score.

Guests mention thoughtful touches like a welcome pack with treats and fresh milk for tea. While these gestures are appreciated, it's important to note that such gifts, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The flat was perfectly clean and had everything we could have needed and the little welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Only little negative was that there were a number of light bulbs that were out and hadn't been replaced, but this really didn't impact our stay. Parking a little awkward, but again not really an issue and a definite plus to have a designated space at the property. All in all a fantastic stay and we would absolutely return to the gables.

It's in a great location close to the shops and sea front. It has the added bonus of a parking space. The access to the space is very tight but in a small car (fiesta) really wasn't too bad to navigate.

  • Jodie

It was ideally located, just a short walk to the beach, harbour, shops and pubs. We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending a stay at 11 The Gables to family and friends. Thank you.
