Bedrock is a well-loved, quaint cottage in Lyme Regis, praised for its prime location and homely feel. Guests have enjoyed the generous welcome packs and found the property to be a great base for exploring the area. The proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants adds to its charm, although some minor maintenance issues were noted.
The cottage is consistently described as clean and tidy, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. However, there is a mention of a crumbling kitchen wall, which suggests a slight deduction is appropriate.
The location is frequently highlighted as a major positive, with its proximity to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The only drawback mentioned is some noise in the front bedroom, but this seems to be a minor issue overall.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage homely. Suggestions for improvement include better quality bed linen and secondary glazing to reduce noise for front bedroom occupants.
While the cottage is well-equipped, guests have suggested the addition of a Smart TV, dishwasher, and some basic kitchen condiments. The maintenance of the kitchen wall and shower also indicates a need for improvement in facilities.
Guests have expressed appreciation for the welcome packs, which add a thoughtful touch to their stay. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and there is no consistent mention of other thoughtful gestures, a score cannot be accurately provided.
