Guests appreciate the cottage's prime location in Lyme Regis, within walking distance to the beach and amenities, and the bonus of on-site parking. The property is often described as comfortable and clean, with a charming, albeit dated, decor. The welcome pack is a delightful touch, though its provision should not be expected. Some guests suggest the need for modernisation and additional kitchen equipment.
The property is generally found to be clean, with specific praise for its tidiness. However, some guests noted issues with dog hairs and a smelly vacuum cleaner, suggesting room for improvement in deep cleaning, especially considering it is pet-friendly.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, shops, and local attractions, with the added convenience of parking. The quiet yet accessible setting is a highlight for visitors.
Guests find the property comfortable, mentioning good beds and a cosy atmosphere. However, there are suggestions for better mattresses and bedding, and some concerns about accessibility due to steep steps.
While the kitchen and living spaces are appreciated, guests have pointed out the need for more kitchen equipment and expressed concerns about maintenance issues like the conservatory windows and door locks. The absence of a washing machine is also noted.
The welcome pack with local goodies is a thoughtful gesture that guests loved, enhancing their experience. However, it's important to note that such amenities may vary and are a pleasant bonus rather than a guaranteed feature.

Plenty of room in the property and cosy area at the back to have a drink. Our dog settled in straight away. She had no mishaps, and a dog friendly beach was only five minutes away.

It was very comfortable and clean and a lovely welcome pack awaited us which was really nice. There was also milk left for us in the fridge. However, ALL the windows have 'blown' in the conservatory and looks horrible and some windows have/are also going in the other rooms. They need replacing. The door to the outside courtyard we could'nt lock properly as the lock was broken and only had a small bolt to secure it. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will revisit in the future. The weather was glorious as an added bonus.
